You go right ahead believing in it, as it is a tenet of your faith. I do not have such a religious crutch to hold me back should something like this had affected me and those I love.

The issue at hand was slavery. Just because SOME people involved were religious nutjobs does not make it a religious war.

and just because one side of the GWOT is religious nutjobs, that means it's not a religious war?

please. as much as i agree with the union ideals behind the civil war, there was very much a religious undertone to it.

Late follow-up question, but I have to pose a philosophical question for you.

So if you can forgive them of all their transgressions on Earth, than will they go to heaven? (Based on your religion).

If God will only forgive under certain circumstances, while you do not require that, does that make you better than God? Philosophically speaking, its impossible to be more forgiving than God, and you cannot be better than him.

Can you admit that if it were your child, wife, or other family member that this occurred to, you would at least have a lapse in this forgiveness? To believe you would forgive someone without lapse in all circumstances is too Jesus like for any man.

Not really, it was an issue but it wasn't the reason behind the war. Hell at just 40 I've seen a bunch of history rewritten.

Getting back on topic (and IPD, I would gladly discuss the human nature good vs evil topic in its own thread or via PM), but supposedly one of the strokes of luck that locked these two in as suspects was due to the help from this guy:

Not to mention, the older of the two brothers was supposedly on the FBI's radar for quite some time:

They also weren't necessarily portraying the model of innocence when they were flinging exploses out of a stolen car and firing shots at police officers either.

It all adds up. The cameras were just the start.
