Best high boost 30+ psi BOVs

I'm curious what everyone likes to run for high boost. I'm betting quite a few are using the Tial BOVs. I have a 50mm but didn't install it because I was wanting to keep recirculating to eliminate rich shifts and a brief rich AFR hang when going to neutral. It never gave me fits but annoyed me for some reason. To run high boost though I may go back to an open atmosphere BOV. This Greddy RS may have worked but I don't trust it. I'm considering trying out the Tial QR.

I have the older Tial 50mm version not the new Q design so I'm not so sure it would bolt up. If it did I would definitely run it and an adapter from Boomba racing so it would slip right onto the stock rubber tube.




I'm sure some individuals have tried Synapse, Forge, and APS. I guess I should rephrase it to holding high boost and not surging/fluttering on WOT shifts.

I've never heard anyone complain that their BOV holds 30 psi but it surges on WOT shifts. In fact, that makes zero sense because the throttle never closes during a WOT shift, so there'd be no opportunity for compressor surge. What on earth are you trying to ask? The part-throttle 'heavy breathing' has nothing to do with the type of BOV.

I think he meant lifting to shift during a WOT pull.

Son of a bitch! I looked for days trying to find a place that sold them! I finally just bought the R from Chris and sold the old one. I also couldn't find the reducer so I had to do some rigging/welding.
