3GS or 3SG?

The little logo on the browser looks like 3GS. Its quick and easy to say, but that is because its a type of iphone. 3SG works too and seems to make most sense, but thanks to Apple, 3GS sounds better (run-on sentence!). Which one is it?

The logo looks like a G3S to me. Kinda does have an Apple-esque feel to it.
