Yep. The community HOUNDED him for testing these turbos on a stroker so he had to switch back to a stock motor. Matt believes there is still more left in the turbos. Too bad he never did race gas/ethanol to find out.

Here's his results on a stock 3L motor.

First pull right off the street 23psi of boost

And the 3rd pull I upped the boost to 25psi

That's right over 600 WHP on a totally stock 3.0L, out of Direct bolt on TD-04 turbos.

i keep waiting on blackmount to come in here and say its stupid because he saw a 4 cylinder with 1 turbo (he would stress 2 less cylinders and 1 less turbo) make more horsepower.

then he would rave about how JDMtyte the FWD burnout was, and all the beetches threw their tops off

Bingo. The big benefit that Matt loves(for good reason), more timing. Which is why peak tq is so early.

I seem to miss the part of where this had to do with anything that was said. IMO u posting randomly in a thread just to make fun of someone who has yet to even look at this thread is dumber then anything I have ever said or done. I probably would have never even opened the thread if someone didnt bring this posts to my attention. Tisk tisk. Do u have a crush on me or something? U seem to be obsessing over things i do or say like a school girl and bring my name up whenever u have the chance. Do you feel better now that u made fun of someone else for something stupid?

I mean u block me because i am "annoying" and "stupid" yet u wont stop bringing up my name. Are you a closet homosexual?

Minus a bath the car is officially done and on the ground .. I swear when I looked under the car I saw the transfercase shaking in fear .. Depending on weather Im gonna get her out of the garage and go for a drive and hopefully get you guys a youtube video so you can hear her .. This car sounds so sick .. I feel so blessed ..

All turbos are and have been the first gen Tial DR750's ... The cams are OEM and straight up as I want to get the platform some solid results on the dyno .. Gonna take the car to Ray and have a straight up before and after dyno for just the cam gear adjustment .. Was also wanting to do the meth on the dyno just to see results but sorry guys, since I had no intentions of ever running it again I just said screw it and deleted it literally last minute while the engine bay was empty .. As for break in its a warm up and drain all oil and filter, then run it around for 500 or so and drain it all again .. Rinse and repeat as needed ..

Todd, did you make the switch to a flashed ecu yet or are you going to run race gas for awhile with the ARC-2 until you make the switch?
I have the gear to do the flash tune today .. But since I had Turbo Bob overclock a ECU for me before the flash tuning came around I've basically decided to run that once this shakedown is over and let Greg finish his car and do the tune all up and then I will prolly make the switch .. 8100 RPMs will give us top end Dyno results on these turbos .. And dare I say it flash ECU as well ..

I will compile a mod list on the first page of this thread over the next few days .. I have done so much to it I cant really remember everything off the top of my head ..
And for everyone we stayed on stock cams so the spool on this car should be rediculous and to the left of all Stage 3 head DR750 dyno results .. I have this setup married to the IPS frontmount with the 750 HP spearco core and the IPS downpipe and Ebay megan exhaust ( I cant recall its exact name) .. Greg Cerakoted the mani's and cats for me and we will see over time how well that performs and holds up ..
I bought a SouthBend Stage 4 replacement disk and new flywheel segments for the car, but just a heads up it appears that the old disk has uneven wear on the flywheel side .. And when I say uneven I mean the clutch side looks new .. And the flywheel side looks worn out .. No blueing on the RPS flywheel itself which means, as I understand it, the clamping force on this clutch is just not enough for this car .. IDK .. We will see for sure this time around and maybe change up to something else ..

As for the engine I think its pretty safe to say we arent 100% sure what the turbos will do on this 3.5 but I feel confident after having the 3.0 that this setup will be exactly what I was hoping for .. Like all of you .. Im totally in for Dyno results .. Just a few miscellaneous pics ..
