My car is inside nice and dry... if it was here at my house I have a nice floor drain under the car... I could wash it if the temp was above freezing (like today). But is at in a friends garage and no floor drain and the weather not good enough to let her off the jack stands and roll her out to wash it.. I hope the weather breaks before I get to the point of putting the motor/tranny back in her.
Not quite finished but most everything is in there.

well mine is sitting in my garage while im here in the rainy season in Iraq boooooo. not to much longer not to much longer
There will be some new pictures with a signifigant change to them... I came home from a friends place today and I was greeted with a nice big chip out of the paint on my valve covers, I quickle made my way back into the house and inquired as to just what the fuck happened to my nice paint job... As it turns out one of my less coordinated little cousins was in the shop and dropped a fucking breaker bar onto it (layed all the parts out on the limited floor space). So I made him buy me some buffing wheels, I soaked 'er in aircraft stripper (nasty shit) and got all the paint off, I sanded the majority of the defects out of the tighter areas and will be cutting the lettering off tomorrow sometime and buffing the living shit out of it. I'll be doing the rear shortly after. My reason for doing this... I fucking hate re-doing what I've already done. I'm also concidering having them both anodized in purple, or keep them polished and put a polished brass sparkplug cover in... and if all else fails and both options look like shit I'll reluctantly paint the damn thing again.
By all means, if I have the money and time to do so I would love nothing more than to go to the meet and put a face to many people on here that I would now call friends.
anodized purple.....
seriously though...i was thinking about doing purple something to mine. i think it'll be TOO much purple though. i'll probably be better off going for black chrome or something translucent so the polish shines through. then i can go with a purple plug cover to offset it. (i might go for purple on the rear cover too....just because it's mostly "hidden").
p.s.
look at chinese's pics. i like my plenum and valve cover like i like my women. shaved FTMFW.
