Personally, I think it's the bottom end on that there engine.

so you knew that there was bearing material in those turbos and still bolted them up to the car? and you are a "3s tech"?
why didnt you show me that pic? I would have stopped you from bolting them on the car. it was still my car you didnt finish paying for it. thats just wrong man

Its cool man. I forgive you. Right now I'm just glad to be home. Im gonna go to church and hang with my wife and kids. This thread will die... I'm past it. I made peace with the guy upstairs. That was all I needed to do. I could dwell on it and be bitter and angry and allow those corrosive emotions to destroy me. Or, I can redirect myself and focus on what's really most important to me. It's neither cars, nor money.

I told you I would re-evaluate my position given the operating condition of the motor. As in "I was going to make you an offer IF and only IF IT RAN". And to no surprise it didn't.

You tried to pass off a banged up, salted, rust bucket roller with a spun bearing off as a 9-10 body/paint car that only needed turbos and an ECU... You forgot to mention it was in a Hurricane, likely spent some time under water, and was being stored on a beach with paper towels protecting critical components.

ok man,im done with this because this will keep going back and forth all night and I have better things to do. once again im real sorry that things turned out the way that they did. I still cant believe that you would lie on me about showing me the timing marks. we even rotated the crankshaft by hand in the dark with a flashlight after we got back from dinner. and felt the resistance and heard the "ping" when the piston hit the valve. you taught me about this shit man. why dispute that? then you hung out talking about ecus and injector maps for another hour. man I really did not expet you to call me dishonest.

Don't you get it man, that video tells it all right there. That engine was cranked in time. YOU CAN HEAR THE RODS SMACKING THE CRANK. That thing wouldn't hold time because the motor is out of phase BECAUSE IT'S BLOWN!

ok cool you didnt feel cumfortable crashing at my house fine, but dont bitch about paying for a hotel room. the only thing that thi car needed that I failed to disclose was vacuum lines and the hose portion of the turbo cooler lines. you did not use your oil of cooling lines. you reused mine and you helped your self to my neighbor's spray paint and pinted them black. you chose to add all of those other parts. I had good gaskets that you could have used but you chose to use your other gaskets. so yea I forgot abput the vacuum and 3/8" water lines that it needed im sorry.

And you forgot to mention that you altered the Crank Sensor, AND you forgot to mention you swapped the coils, AND you forgot to mention that the spark plug wires were eaten by rats, AND you forgot to mention you removed the injectors and reinstalled them improperly and consequently caused a historical fuel geyser, AND you forgot to mention the manifolds were cracked, AND you forgot to mention you altered the grounding, and you forgot to mention the coolant lines had holes in them, AND you forgot to mention the turbos you gave me to install were filled with metal AND, AND, AND, AND...

Man, quit trying to act like I didn't bring it to your attention. You're certainly a fast talkin guy from New York. I had to wait to confirm I got my money back before I spoke for myself.

I got my money back and learned a valuable lesson. I will never purchase a vehicle sight unseen and throw money around a "to good to be true" ever again. God wanted me to learn that lesson. I have and will be more critical in the future.

I'm going to go spend some time with King James. Man, after this post I need it.

J, really sorry to hear about your experience. I took the "sight unseen" plunge myself a year ago January. Didn't quite turn out to this magnitude, but yeah it "just stopped working one day" but after some back-and-forth I gave a solid deal for it, and had it shipped. I've spent a lot of time finding and fixing things, found some weird "maintenance" in the form of a non OEM water pump with a paper board gasket, 10mm nut behind the pickup with foliage, somehow NEVER sucked it up, just a true test, but it's finally coming to the point of 100%. I'll never do one again. If you need someone that's been there done that to chat with, I'm your Huckleberry
