Just add up the totals of each array. If the total capacity of each scale were 300lbs for instance, you would have a total capacity of 1200lbs for each corner.

I've actually seen that done with two scales on each corner on super lightweight racecars. Definetly an inexpensive option. (particurly now that you can buy a pretty accurate chinese bathrom scale for $6... lol)

I know, right? I mean for $96 bucks and some steel/fab time you can make corner weight scales. It's not as cool as the Long Acre setup and surely not as accurate but you can get 99% of the way there.

Another thing I've seen done, is to make a small platform with a fulcrum to give a mechanical advantage to a single scale, and just multiply the reading by whatever ratio is built in.

Ruggles scale... Suppose I could have elaborated though. Honestly with how cheap the scales are it almost seems cheaper and easier to get 16 scales vs fabbing up the platform.
