What's the difference between maximal and 3sx adjustable awd upper control arms?

I can't remember where I bought mine.

I ruined the threads on the bolt hitting it out with a hammer (the end on the hub) and now can't get the castle nut back on... and hoped to contact whoever I bought it to see if they'd just sell me that piece (looks kinda like a tie rod) but pictures on their websites look similar and I really can't remember where I bought them...

Is there a way to tell them apart? Are perhaps the parts interchangeable so doesn't really matter anyway?

I'm pretty sure both are the same piece so if you bought it from ether place it should work. I'd contact Terry and shoot him a pic. I'll bet he will sell you the end. Or you could try and chase the threads with a die.

I agree with Paul though, you can probably just chase the threads without an issue..especially something with a course thread like that.

I mean most people would probably just cross thread it on and call it nature's lock-tite.

You can get Grease-able, Chromoly or Teflon ones from Speedway. There Aluminum and Chromoly ones are less that $15.00

I don't remember the size off the top of my head. I think it's a 3/4 - 16 Heim. Depending on the side will tell if it is LH/RH threaded. Just check the one you have and order the same kind.

Murray Split Die Thread Chaser Tool ? Standard & Metric is the kind of thing I need for chasing the threads?

Only thread repair I've ever done before was helacoil for internal threads...

Depending on how smashed the threads are it may not even by possible to get one of them started though. I'd try a triangle file as suggested before and see if you can clean them up first.
