How would you rate the 14B for NA turbo conversion? I see the max output is 21 PSI. I wouldn't run it that hard, but will the stock VR4 intercooler handle it? I'm going to replace the fuel injectors with 450cc up from 360cc, is that a good idea?

Your gonna need a bunch of stuff to make it work like adapter plates or td05 manifolds. Also its not gonna just bolt up to the stock intercoolers. I'd look into staying into the td04 style turbos as they will bolt up to stock turbo manifolds/ intercoolers and you will still make good power without as much headaches.
Thanks much! I'm in the middle of trying to get the stock VR4 turbos. Would you suggest just waiting and deciding on a turbo upgrade down the road?
i wouldn't undertake a conversion unless your car was already 100%. and 13g's are about the biggest i'd put on a 10:1 engine in 3/s land.
bump.
what'd you end up doing?

On my 10:1 I still have the baby 9b's BUT I cant run them upto 22psi knock free.... I am cheating and running 20% meth in tank though Lol. The 9b's just cant cope and by redline they only making about 10psi. I have some 11b's too go on next although I think im at the limit of the 10:1 setup anyway without carrying out any big upgrades.
If you're interested, I'm going to have a TD05-14B setup for sale in a few weeks. Adapter plates, coolant distribution block, the works. Damn near everything you'd need for an NA to TT conversion. I'm 2/3 of the way through pulling it all off my Stealth. It'll work with the stock intercoolers, but I wouldn't recommend it due to the restriction.
10:1, e85 and 14bs would rip! But as stated you either need adapter plates that are only available used, or a td05 header kit.
Pump gas, Pistons are your limitation. I would probably go 13gs for a nice bolt on and use meth to keep knock down or get Chrome and tune in the fuel and timing to keep knock at bay.
E85. Do whatever (within reason). Limit is the stock rods now and those are the same as TT. A sweet turbo on stock TT manis would be 13t or 19t.
Edit: Damn it! Just noticed you bumped a year old thread to try to sell some parts. Can I have my post and time back?

1992 Kilder Green VR4 - First 4G swap in a 3S. 2.0, auto, awd. 9.65 at 143mph. Now LS swapped. 8.52 at 162.
I didn't even realize I did it. I'd think the 4th thread down on the page wouldn't be 9 months old. I didn't realize this board was hurting for traffic so badly.
