You didn't quote me so I'm not positive you were responding to what I said..?

I'm not sure what he typically does with the strokers, but the typical stock replacement is 3.615" nominal piston diameter, 3.620" bore.(if you hone to .005 clearance) That converts to almost 92mm (91.95)

yes, I was replying to you. Ray will have to chime in. It is conceivable my $10 caliper sucks and the bores are bigger than measured, I was merely curious anyway.

Well, I certainly hadn't commited the specs to memory, I was reading them off of one of the old piston boxes I have laying around the shop....

Stopped by the machinist today, and they are 3.620", and the bore is 3.58X"? (memory failure) so about .040 will need to be chewed out. Up goes the bill.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

LMAO, he mutters under his breath looking at them "Nice to see someone buying a real piston". I asked what he meant, and I guess he has been building a lot of younger crowd engines with no budget. I told him to be nice to my bill on the way out.

Yeah, but the extra work for him puts me in jeopardy of getting an "itemized" bill.

I thought about sending the pistons out to get the skirts coated, but f-it I want the damn thing back asap.

He is in possession of the clutch/flywheel/pressure plate/balancer/all bolts to get her balanced! Hoping for a call tomorrow. Would be awesome to install over the weekend. He is chamfering the oil passages on the crank, and tightening tolerances a bit for oil pressure benefits.
