July 2014 COTMWe follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.
Great to see her progressing reasonably well. It's hard to remember every little thing isn't it?
Woohoo...nice job sir![]()
if you cant fix it with a hammer...then you have an electrical problem
Congrats on the start up !!! Definitely agree on dumping the oil now before any more running is done.
Best of luck![]()
Yeah the oil was only in for the initial warm up to temp. It is out, and fresh back in. I will not be starting it until new inj, plugs, and I figure out the fpr situation.

i have never seen one smoke quite that thick, but that doesnt mean that the engine is bad or anything. if it doesnt smell like coolant or oil, then its just crap burning off.
on the FPR: in case you are unaware... you need to set the pressure with the vac line DISCONNECTED from the FPR (cap the line with your finger). set it 52ish with the line disconnected (assuming you can... if you have an aeromotive i dont know why you wouldnt be able to) and then when you reconnect the line, it should sit around 47ish psi.
good to hear there are no leaks man! there are going to be a million little things to tinker with now haha
