The low trims did not register at all (0), the mids did after a few minute of driving. After a 5 minute cruise the mids were at 2.9 front, and rear, and climbing. As lean as it was idling I did not want to run it much more. I did not think idle in closed loop would be so far askew if the injectors were set proper. I posted a log in the other thread. O2's were a bit odd to me, but right now I have so much info convulsing my brain I am unsure. I need to step back, and re-read the re-read, and break it down step by step again. Fun stuff.

Fuel pressure is set at 45-ish.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

I know the low trim takes awhile to change letting the car sit there and idle. Mid is less about 4 minutes per cycle and you need 16 minutes total for them to settle. I'm sure Greg can put you in the right direction. It sure does take awhile for the reading to retain. Lol.

Pressure test is good, only leak is the bubble connection for the rear valve cover which sees no boost anyway, Woot!

    Now for more reading...

A quart of PS fluid back in the system.

Double checked my double check of the vacuum lines. Only thing that may be an issue is the waste gates are connected post throttle body. I unplugged them to be sure, and no difference. Damn thing is sounding like a cammed v8!

The smoke is a partial mystery. I thought it had a return line leak, but clean as a whistle. I did note that there was a trail of oil down the down pipe originating from the flange of the O2 pipe. I am thinking residual leftovers of the over lubing incident earlier. Will need to drive again to see if higher pressure creates the smoke screen it did last time.

Coolant on the rear mount is still a mystery. It should have evaporated long ago. Need to check the heater core hoses to see if wet.

Is idling it so lean hurting the engine at all?

A lot of work tuning to do, but it should not be this lean with the inj set. It makes me think the rear O2 (new) getting soaked with oil might be malfunctioning. I might turn it off to see if running on the front helps any.

Oh, the damn fans are not turning on either. Tried to check with the ac on (ac works!), but could not hear it turn on, and when warm she does not idle without help.

For what it's worth on the coolant Bill:
My waste gates come off of a nipple before the throttle body, shouldn't make a difference though. They operate based on pressure, not vacuum so should still operate since the manifold would show pressure to the line.

Smoking, not sure. Why not remove the down pipe for now, go for a drive and then park it and see if there's a spot of oil in that area on the driveway afterwards? Did you spray the O2 housing out with brake cleaner? Still have the precats (maybe oil got in there and is just all inside the honey comb?)

I had coolant in the valley from a leaking o ring on the pipe despite not having run the car in over a month. I think you are right about checking the core hoses though.

I'd be worried about idling that lean personally. Pick up another O2, or borrow from someone and see if that changes it.

Don't your fans turn on when commanded by the ECU based on temperature? I'd use Evoscan to send a command and test them.

Did not have the laptop to test the fans at the time.

Pulled the test pipe, and she's clean still. Did not pull the o2 housing to clean, as well as the hot side housing. Pulled the ic pipe, and she is clean as well.

Bite your tongue on the valley leak! lol

    I'll grab another o2 tomorrow.

I had a minor coolant leak back there, coolant was dripping down one of the heater hoses from the connection at the t-stat housing. Maybe give that a look?

I wouldn't be too worried about running it lean at idle.
