Fuel pump hanger is ready for assembly, and install. I had to weld the feed, and nut, O-ring, and epoxy the return. No room for welding between them.
i had mine welded in the other way around. Mine has the beveled edge down.

coop has the brace on the rite way, the beveled edge is there to create a "valley" so that when its welded it has more material connecting it and is stronger

I guess they face it down for a reason, being they have more experience with this than i do. I thought that the beveled edge served the same purpose as chamfering pipes/tubes before welding to ensure the weld penetrates properly.

Oh but they do. And all they required for payment was a few pics of Scotty in his natural habitat. Sick bastards.

The chamfer is probably there because when the brace is put on and it sits all the way down on the case, the case is not a 90* angle where it holds the bearing. It's rounded. So I'm sure it's chamfered so it can sit flush if need be. Because Bill got it welded up off the case for oil flow, it won't make a difference. I'm not sayin lifting it off the case is smart/not smart just that in this situation it shouldn't make a difference on which side the chamfer is on

Well Brandon (tycobb43) came up with influential motivation. (Beerz)

I got the pump hanger all together, and installed.

    We then tackled these.

Front bar end links are the $16.56 Diamante Moog links. Much beefier than the $45 oem links! Upgrade in quality, down grade in price! How often can you find that? I used them instead of the heim joints that came with the sway bar. Grease-able, and dust caps. ftw

Those damn sway bars are a lot larger than oems! Can't wait to test them out in the corners...
