I have the Spyder supplemental manual and it makes no reference to any of the changes you suggest (other than the proportioning valve).

Also, I/we have owned twin turbos in 92, 93, 94 (twice) and 95 (Spyder) and my 92 is the only one with this (minor) issue.

It stops. Not as quick as the others, and a bit more squishy....

Honestly, I don't notice it as much as my son (93 VR4). I either drive the Spyder (crazy smooth clutch, instant brakes) or the Stealth (strangely stiff stock clutch, somewhat squishy brakes).

It is highly possible that there is still a little bit of air in the system. Did you make sure to NOT let the reservoir get below the mesh while you were pumping?

    Yes Nathan

I've done this a time or two before...

    Appreciate your input though...

Just trying to help. Hmm. What could it be. Hope the stainless lines do the trick.

Ah yeah, and you're supposed to have the engine running too to make sure the brakes are under proper pressure, I forgot about that silly trick.

Bob, how did this turn out? Did the new lines fix your spongy braking issue?
