in case you want the read to see what everyone was referring to - grab some food and drink.
Update regarding Midnight Concepts / Shaun Cameron - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

it's also worth noting that Alan was still in charge of 3si at the time - pretty sure that the posts that say dfssharkbat were Alan and they worked some voodoo forum magic on his posts.

edit: leaving his name as dfpsharkbat because it made me laugh.

edit 2: disregard the above highlighted misinformation - Alan was not in charge as April pointed out below.

Ahh, gotcha. They had one of those conversations here too man. Sure was ugly, but I'd bet they both learned a lot from it.

FWIW, C7 employs managers in multiple facets of its business. Accounting, purchasing, shipping, manufacturing, quality control, and research and development. The cornerstones are currently managed by professionals vs. just one guy. It's a completely different business as compared to the once small business struggling thru growth and infancy.

It's really easy to say screw it and hang it up when the going gets tough. Speaking from the heart of a small business owner to another, I'm glad they didn't. Their stuff is nice, and worth the wait! My purchasing experience and personal conversations with Ryan reflects progress.

Soon enough we'll see this stuff bolted on. The fittment I can't wait to see is their carbon fiber Judgement kit on IPS's unimaginable build.

No, it was a month after Alan left 3si... but the issues arising with Cianci started before Alan left. It just didn't all come to light until November.

I don't care if c7 makes the most awesome stuff out there, Ryan is and always will be a douche canoe in my book.

Just curious about the rear fender overlays in CF. I have the fiberglass ones to match my front WB vented fenders and they have to be bonded onto the existing fenders. My bodyshop told me that he would also rivet them on in addition to the epoxy bonding to ensure no cracking on the final finish, which is all good for a painted car. Do you intend on installing them in this manner also? If not intending on painting them, how do you intend on putting them on the car? All other CF parts are bolted to the car, but these have to be bonded, so I don't see a way to leave them unpainted.

You can just epoxy the rear quarters on. It's recommended to grind down the stock rear quarter with some 36 grit discs so that the epoxy bonds properly. No need for rivets if the right epoxy is used currently.

We have been selling a good amount of C7 stuff, and everything has been shipping smoothly. I think many people are a bit ignorant to how the business is run right now. I wouldn't risk my reputation by selling stuff that is sub par and not shipping on time.

Hans, TBH, at first you didnt sell anything that wasnt in stock. Lets not just all pretend nothing ever happened. There's people that are still catching alot of flak for things that happened in the past. (like Gene, midnight haze, are we gonna let Dennis back on the forums and buy everything he sells?)

Like I said, it is great, no.... IT IS AWESOME if they are actually redeeming themselves. They made great products for our community before their service/delivery/fitment went to shit.

Im glad theyre back, im glad Ryan found some good help to get this business back on rails!
