    Something Scratching Window

I rolled down my passenger window this morning, and heard a scratching noise. I quickly stop, and roll the window back up. I actually see light scratches in the window. A few minutes ago (after school), I took off the door panel to take a look.

The only thing I saw that even comes in contact with the outside of the window is the trim/garnish strip. Do you guys think that the garnish is the culprit? What else could the issue be?

There's a few cushioned buffer pieces down inside the door to keep in sliding through the tracks properly. They look like little squares of black fur. (seriously) They are on the top side of the door and with the door panel off you can get to them pretty easily. I'd bet you have either rubbed through them from a lot of use or you have a rock stuck in it. You can usually fluff them up a bit with a brush as well. Good luck!

I think I know what you're talking about.. But aren't those on the inner half of the door?
