x2 on the longer. Not only for the heat transfer but the fact that the SS line would probably eat up the finish on the manifold over time.

Jus wondering?how come you didn't have the exhaust housings coated?
I didn't want to fiddle around with taking the exhaust housing off the turbo. Less room for error haha.
But the o2 housings should be here today from the coater.
July 2014 COTMWe follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.
Got these today along with my exhaust manifold stud kit and other misc allen head bolts.

"gold" ceramic coating
I'd say longer, and maybe make some kind of bracket or something to hold the line away from the manifold and keeping the line constantly heading down, just make sure you don't make it any longer than it needs to be.
Ever consider maybe doing a hard 45 off of the turbine housing (and maybe the oil pan as well) to help angle it away from the manifold? Can't be sure, but those look to be reusable fittings, so you could get a hard 45 or something to help move it away and then just shorten the hose up an inch or so if necessary to keep the slack out of it.

I don't think I have updated this in awhile.
Belt seems either slightly small so I am going to see how a size up works.
coil pack wired up for the twin power
So, driver side motor mount is on, lower timing cover is on, crank pulley is on, alternator is slightly on (going to pull it and paint he bracket, while I get another belt), lower intake manifold is on. I layed the fuel rails on it to see how it looks. Not too bad.
damn, twins we are! Nice!
Looking good!
