whats your best "I got pulled over and..." cop stories

I wanna hear everyone stories, but in fairness ill start it off with my best one.

I was driving down main street of my home town, at the time i had a 1998 honda prelude sh, white, halo headlights, tint. nothing else. I wasnt speeding, wasnt thumping bass on my sound system. i was just minding my own *$%3 business.then it happened. the blue light special is going on behind me. i roll down my window, the cop tells me to get out of the vehicle and proceeds to ask me how much dope i had sold that night. WTF? i said, "Officer im not sure what your talking about?" he then said that because my car was so "heavily moddified" (thing even had stock exhaust) and tinted windows, i was ready to run, and to hide drugs in the car. I proceeded to say "excuse me officer?" he then said he was going to search my car for my drugs. i told him he didnt have the right. i then asked what his name and badge number was, he then proceeded to tell me to have a nice night, and left. still have no clue what i did wrong...

I was living in Georgia (school and work)... got off work Christmas eve and starting driving home to Florida. Got pulled over in Lowndes County, Georgia (Valdosta) around midnight. Cop said I was doing 95mph. The car I was driving was a 92 Geo Storm, so of course I laughed because that car could barely do 90mph and your butt would pucker. I think he tagged the car in front of me, but pulled me over because I had Florida tags. I had my military uniforms hanging up in the back, and I was still in work uniform. He asked why I was in Georgia, and why I was going to Florida. I told him military college and I'm going home for Christmas, duh... He proceeds to ask me if he can search my vehicle, and I ask why. He says "we believe that you are running drugs". I laughed and told him to knock himself out, can't mess it up anymore than it already is. He writes me a ticket for speeding and goes on his marry way. I disputed the ticket because he couldn't provide the last time the radar had been calibrated, so at least I didn't have to pay to the ticket.

And another time (in Georgia while in college) I got pulled over for "racing off a red light". Some nasty guy in truck was making lewd gestures, and I took off when the light turned green... well so did he. There were two cops, and we both got pulled over. The officer walked up to my window, and I told him what happened. The I heard come over his radio "is it a black eclipse with the rims". The cop laughed and said yeah... then I heard "she cool, you can let her go". I had a 2000 black eclipse that was sort of riced out LOL. I was an assistant GM of Papa John's pizza and always made sure to take care of the city and county LEO LOL.

So many stories, so little time...

Most recent one was going to somewhere with the wife, and the local popo was in his usual spot which i noticed a tad too late. Long story short, the officer let me go because i was the first guy that morning who DIDNT blame the wife in the car for distracting

    LOL JK

The only time I've ever been pulled over for "racing" was when a buddy of mine was giving me crap because I couldn't chirp my tires, so when the light turned green we both launched, had both of our clutches slip like crazy, and didn't even break the speed limit. Well the Deputy pulled us both over and proceeded to chew us both out, but no ticket. Was an interesting night though.

Most of my encounters with the police have not been good, but I have at least one good story to tell. I was driving to my baseball game early on a Sunday morning. I was cruising at a pretty good clip, but nothing too extreme. A CHP officer pulls me over. After looking at my car and walking around it, he comes to my window and says, "I really like your car, so I'll give you a choice. I can give you a ticket for speeding, or I can give you one for no front plate, your choice." I said "I'll take the ticket for no front plate, thank you" Had to pay a $10 fine and mount the plate for inspection, but no points and no insurance increase. One of the few times in my life when a cop wasn't a dick to me.

One day after leaving school in my little old Mazda I was taking the ring road around the university. Going through the gears a little faster than normal I must have gone well beyond the 30 mph speed limit. I checked the mirror to see the university's finest rapidly getting larger. Before he was able to activate his light show I pulled over to the side of the road. He stopped his car behind me, still sticking out in the road. He got out and slowly, in the widest arc I've ever seen, approached my window. Hand covering his weapon he asked me what I was doing. I told him "I looked in my mirror and saw you coming, looked down and saw what I was doing, and new what was coming. So I pulled over". He said "yeah, slow down around here" and walked away.

    I got lucky
