Tag was found in one of the most unfriendly places this world has to offer. After an engagement with enemy forces, he was seen near his mother that was shot and killed in the action. Knowing that this puppy was now on his own, our team wrapped him up and brought him along. He kept us company for the next few days while we remained in the area, still fighting. He ate beef jerky, MRE's, and whatever else the team had to share. When it came time to leave and head back to Camp, we all knew he was coming along. We got him back here, and he immediately stopped shaking and warmed up to everyone. He spent a few days getting to know all the people on the team, following us around, sitting in on meetings and just giving us all a reason to smile. His curiosity and happiness are infectious, and his love for everyone on the team is heart melting. Due to the rules and regulations that are in place, we are not allowed to keep "pets" here on camp. This little guy is bright, well mannered, and will make a great addition to his US family!
