    Help wanted

A friend from another forum posted this. He is out in harms way fighting for this country. It would be great if we could help out and get this puppy home. Also if people could post this on facebook or anywhere else to help that would be great.

I already brought this up in the chat earlier, but I'm trying to adopt a dog from over here. My teammate and I have been working hard to go through the channels to make this happen, and contacted a rescue group that is willing to help us. Right now they are fund raising to get Tag home to the US, where he will be waiting for me when I get home.

Here's his story, with the link to the fundraising page for him. Share it around, put it on FB and spread the word!
Tag was found in one of the most unfriendly places this world has to offer. After an engagement with enemy forces, he was seen near his mother that was shot and killed in the action. Knowing that this puppy was now on his own, our team wrapped him up and brought him along. He kept us company for the next few days while we remained in the area, still fighting. He ate beef jerky, MRE's, and whatever else the team had to share. When it came time to leave and head back to Camp, we all knew he was coming along. We got him back here, and he immediately stopped shaking and warmed up to everyone. He spent a few days getting to know all the people on the team, following us around, sitting in on meetings and just giving us all a reason to smile. His curiosity and happiness are infectious, and his love for everyone on the team is heart melting. Due to the rules and regulations that are in place, we are not allowed to keep "pets" here on camp. This little guy is bright, well mannered, and will make a great addition to his US family!

I'll donate $100 as soon as the guy from eBay pays for the headlights or as soon as I have some money in the PayPal account LOL. Should be less than a week...

Awesome! thanks April, you know this guy or "-that-guy". If somebody want's to really support the troops, Brian is the guy to support.

Is he on 3si as well... thought about starting a thread over there in the Chatter section. I went ahead and sent the money now... 1/6th of the way there now.

Go for it, you might get more responses since I don't post much there anymore. I'll make sure and bump it though.

    Thanks again April
