    Non-Heated to Heated Mirrors......

.......Is it a difficult conversion? I have a Base model 3000GT and would really like to have heated mirors. Can anyone tell me what would be needed to do this....other than the heated mirrors themselves? I know the two different mirrors have different plugs. Do the heated mirrors have an on/off switch or do they activate on their own?

THANKS to anyone that can help me out (OR change my mind!)

You'll need the door harness at least. I beleive the mirrors turn on when the rear defrost is turned on. I beleive the mirror turn on wire is in the body harness so you will have to run your own wire to the door harness in order to power it.

Its not the most difficult thing in the world, but it won't be exactly "simple" either.

Thanks for your reply. I was hoping the wires would already be there...just not being used in my model. I guess I should begin looking at the wiring diagrams for a starter and see what I come up with.
