Hi guys, super noob question I know, but what is this burned cylinder attached to the clutch? Its out of a FWD car if that matters. I'm trying to get this car back together but have no idea what I need.

thats either the center of the throw out bearing, or part of the shaft the throw out bearing runs on.

I vote for the center of the throw out bearing.
yeah its welded its self to the center plate, surprised it didnt weld its self also to the shaft it runs on.
Sweet. Thanks guys. I'm about 4 hours away from the car right now and probably would of realized this if I looked closer. I've actually got the old throw out bearing in my hand, its welded itself together and is lopsided now, so this makes sense. Makes me even more surprised the car was able to drive haha.
