Does anyone have any good recommendations on whom to have coat my headers (TD05) inside and out? Not sure if there is anyone in the 3S community that does it, but thought I would ask before I try someone like JetHot or the such.

We use a company called swaintech, they have a nice thermal coating, we usually send our customers parts there. Also Tirado Custom Coatings has a lot of new thermal coatings he offers.
Heres a pic of the swain tech coating.

And the list goes on...
To build on this, how well does coating help with the heat? More particularly, how much does it do for the rear turbo against the firewall? Noticeable difference inside the cab or under the hood at all?
It will noticably drop under hood temps. What turbos are you running, if you really want to drop temps, a simple way is turbo blankets. We run one of these on the Ricer, and after a full pass down the track you can rest your hand on blanket. They keep things really cool.
Something like this
Thanks for the response. ATM I only have 9Bs but when I put in (probably) 19Ts down the road I just want a way to keep my mind at ease when I leave the heat shield off and right now I can feel the heat radiating onto my feet when I drive with sandals...not the most comfortable but whatever I suppose.
I have been running not shields at all on my 9bs and stock manifolds with no issues at all so far. Ceramic coating is a good way to go, it will make things llok a lot nicer under the hood, and will keep things a bit cooler. I will probably caot my new manifolds this winter.
How much should I look at paying per header? Right now I'm getting quotes of about $300 per header, not including the O2 housings from the likes of "Jet Hot". I'm running Titan manifolds like Dynamic Racing sold in the past, and they were coated, but after about 5 years of use the coating is getting rather broken. However if I remember correctly it was only about $300 to have the kit coated in the past.
Just checked with Tirado Custom Coatings. Prices pretty much are the best and very competative so far.
Ya swain tech coating isnt that cheap, Tirado does decent work, we have had him powdercoat a few things for us, he does have good prices to.
I had my headers and o2 housings as well as my turbo hotsides coated by http://elitecoatingsny.com/ and I think it came out to about $400 and it looks pretty damn good. I havnt finished my build yet so I cant give to much more insight on how its holding up unfortunately.
