The way this loads is rather annoying. Since it appears to be among the last items to load, and it's not spaced properly until it loads, it causes issues for those of us trying to click quickly through menus. I load up a section of the forum and go to mark it as read, but the page suddenly scrolls down and I end up trying to post a new thread.

This is obviously a lower priority than the upgrade fixes, but it's still pretty annoying.

If the JS was evaluated at the time of the page load you'd have to wait for it to complete before seeing the link you want to click anyway.

I may look at putting some spacer text in there at some point.

Alan, I would rather see the date of the event in the header. I keep forgetting and the NG2012 site is out of date. Two vacations to take this year, I have to make sure they don't collide.
