From what I'm seeing, it's Oregon and everyone else. Not even close.

^Agreed. Too early to make that call. (Not to cut down Oregon, they are ridiculously good for sure) If not, then Baylor should be in that conversation, as well. Haven't played anyone with a pulse, and leading just about every category. Same as Oregon.

    Alright...I'm with you fellas.

But yeah, there's a LOT that's still up in the air this early in the season. Nobody has impressed me this year, including Oregon. Oregon beat Tennessee, but Tennessee beat themselves as well. Punting on Oregon's side of the field, defenders leaving assignments to chase Mariotta when he rolled out of the pocket, and the offense being completely inept (which will be a trend for Tennessee this year.) They beat Virginia but I didn't get to see that game. Neither Tennessee nor Virginia are exactly Top 25 teams...Or even top 50 honestly.

Texas Tech kind of intrigues me honestly. Too early to know how strong any team is, but certainly with a 4-0 record and apparently possessing a defense (or as close as the Big12 comes to a defense) make them a dark horse candidate to sneak into the picture at the end of the year. The games against OU, OKState and Baylor will be huge in determining it. OK State looks alright too, but certainly not pinning any bets on them.

The adjusted stats love them some Oregon....................................... and Baylor... and everyone else.

    Adjusted Stats

(still tons of variability and crazy shit in those numbers)

You know Texas is terrible when mike doesn't even troll me anymore. He's just sympathetic at this point, LOL.

After a great 1st half, Ash was concussed for the second time in ~3 weeks. It's fair to say he's going to miss most of the remainder of the season. And since MackBrownTexasFootball is afraid of QB competitions, we have nothing behind him!

K-State must be REALLY bad. They couldn't punish Texas' D for selling out to stop the run until the game was already over. That was the worst coaching effort I've seen from Snyder against Texas. The book is out on how to prevent Case from doing ANYTHING and Snyder apparently ignored it. K-State's D-line is probably the worst in the B12... And the B12 is awful this year. Is OSU over MissSt the only OOC BCS win for the B12? (wow, I think it is) ... Maybe these teams will be worth something come bowl season, but they suck with commitment right now.

Case McDerp will surely herp us to at least 1 more victory!

    Well played:

    Heads up!

True, and yet the sadder. Looks like, to me anyhow, he pushes the official into blocking the other guy. It's not like Ohio State was exactly in danger of losing the game, and the official could've gotten hurt (looks like he did actually). In short, sad that someone would feel the need to do something like that for a meaningless score in a meaningless game.

LSU@UGA this weekend with GameDay in town. I don't see how we win this one. Hill is almost as good as Gurley and their Defense is stout while ours couldn't stop a strongly worded letter. meanwhile the Murrary/Richt combo is something like 3-14 against ranked teams. throw on top of that it being on National tv in the big spot light with game day there and that's a recipe for Murrary to throw 3+ ints and/or fumble a few. add in the way our special teams played against the Mean Green and I smell blow out. I'm going to guess 34-10 LSU.

yeah It was completely pre meditated! those bastages! They deliberately harmed an official for a free easy touchdown! Boooo hissss!...

It doesn't matter if you're up by 7 or 70. If you get the ball, you want to score. It's all about having fun at that point, and getting into the endzone is fun for ball carriers.

Ref needs to get the hell out of the way. He's part of the field and if he's in your way you're taught to deal with it appropriately as early as middle school ball. No hard feelings.
