I find the similarity between Marshall and WVU with respect to passing distribution pretty ironic. Dumb luck or do you think Marshall is actually attempting to mimic the success of rival WVU?

I think Ash is probably a better passer than Braxton by a little, but Braxton is twice the runner Ash is.

I am factoring in the run game, when you do that I think that makes Braxton the better qb.

Complete mimic. Their HC, Doc Holliday, was a 21 yr veteran coach for WV, and played LB at WV. They also took trips to Oregon last Summer to watch Kelly's Ducks.

I'm just glad WV doesn't have to play them anymore. They are the ones that see a rivalry, when there is none. If they couldn't beat WV with Pennington and Moss, they'll never field a team that can. 12-0 all time.

    pass distribution

    completion % by distance
...and people wonder why we only won three games last year. No excuse for a 60% completion percentage behind LoS.

The Playing Rules Oversight Panel approved a new football rule that requires players who target and contact defenseless players above the shoulders to be ejected, effective for the 2013 season. The change increases the on-field penalty for targeting by adding the automatic ejection to the existing 15-yard penalty.
The new rule in football means that discipline for those players flagged for violations will mirror the penalty for fighting. If the foul occurs in the first half of a game, the player is ejected for the remainder of the game. If the foul occurs in the second half or overtime of a game, the player is ejected for the remainder of the game and the first half of the next contest.
This is going to affect games. Not a fan, at all.

Just another rule for the refs to abuse an f up calls on... Seriously just watching basketball reminds me of how bad officiating can be...

Charge foul! foul on the defender! Charge... Defend... Its absurd. I laughed during the Ohio State/Illinois game. The OSU guy elbowed the other center and the refs missed it, he said "here comes the makeup call, it doesn't matter if this guy ran away from him, the refs were going to call it on him" ... and they did... was hilarious.

1:33 minutes in... Rabenou elbows the guy in the head. I think you have to have ATT to watch the game

I don't think the horns is for UT. That's the metal sign. No denying the tat, though. But, yeah, y'all dun goofed on not getting him.

There's some discussion now about whether or not the tat is shopped. It's probably shopped, in hindsight.

But he spends more time in Austin than he does College Station and he made that double Hook 'Em (or alleged metal sign) in downtown Austin... Shrug.
