There's a case out in the 9th circuit in Kalifornia that is not boding well for the NCAA. Appeal was struck down for NCAA and EA. This could have major implications for the NCAA. They profit from likeness, but student athletes can not. It's moving to class status, as well. I had a personal discussion with the AD of WVU about this last week. Our AD, Oliver Luck, is an attorney (degree from Texas) and he thinks this thing has some real teeth to rapidly expand.
