Site upgrade issues

Post attachments (i.e. pictures) open up in both a new tab ANd the standard viewing window when I click to view

The instant-chat updates might actually be one of my favorite parts about the new shoutbox update. Especially at night, when things are pretty slow. Reloading the 'new posts' page seems far more annoying.

Ugh. The script errors stopped appearing, but the page load times are still attrocious. Even when the page is loaded it still bogs badly.

I am not having a single issue with any other site.

Their is some kid of IE8 issue.

I'm trying to find a solution.

idea for when shoutbox shows when someone posts to a thread (and subsequently links) - it links directly to the post that was made. could this link to the newest unseen post in the thread in the same manner that it does when we get an email notification re: new posts?

I like it when it's slow but would like to be able to turn it on and off.
