    Opinions on Potenial Brake Setup

I drive a n/a FWD 3000GT. Mine is a base, so it doesnt have the extra weight from some of the goodies that the SL and VR4 have. Im not hard on my brakes, and dont AutoX.

Im thinking of running EBC Green Stuff Pads all around. Up front, Im looking at Brembo Replacement Rotors. In the rear, Im thinking of going with either Raybestos or Wagner Rotors.

Do you guys think this would be a good DD setup?

I don't think Brembo makes replacement blanks anymore. When I got mine a few years back I was told they were phasing them out.

If you don't AutoX, don't race, and don't run your car hard I don't see the point in going with overly expensive pads. Wagner pads, or along those lines, should be more than sufficient.

I happened to find Brembo front blanks on TireRack for $47/piece. I already have the EBC Greens. I bought them a few months ago.

    Thanks for your input.

I track my car and cheap parts store rotors are the best I've found. They occasionally crack but so do the expensive ones and they're half the price. I'd go with something like that before brembo to save some cash.

As for pads anything will really work for a street driven car, especially if it's not hard driving.

    This.

Also one thing you need to think about is the fact that race or track pads generally make more dust, some of them even make really harsh dust that will be very harsh on your wheels if not cleaned frequently.

What brand rotors do you recommend? Ive heard that many are crap, and Im reading mixed reviews on Wagners.

90% of blank steel rotors are the same. Napa gold / Oreillys store brand rotors should be fine.

I've had good luck with NAPA. Right now I'm running ones from auto zone. Just stay away from super cheap ebay ones, especially drilled, and you'll be fine.
