Oh I highly doubt it. They would lose a LOT of customers, some like myself who can't play, and others who wouldn't pay on the principle of the matter. It's business suicide.

Wow, I hope this is proven false.

I lend games out and borrow them a lot. Also I love the used game market.

If this proves to be true, looks like my WiiU will be my only next gen purchase for this generation.

I don't own an xbox, never have. PC games for me and yes F*CK steam for not allowing transfer of ownership of games. I never bought another steam game after the got me a couple times but their prices drop fast(down to 10$ after a while).

MS didn't start this crap, steam did. And who cares, who buys DVD games anyways... Don't all you xbox guys download them mostly?

Tried to trade in my Xbox 360 with a massive 20gb hdd and they would only give me $35 for it. Don't use it. But not worth trading for such a small amount. I assume this new tech would still allow you to resell a console? Xbox is shit anyway. Games cost more but are not as good as pc, fps on Xbox with the joystick is so gay. Mine hasn't been turned on for about 12 months.

Deflection. Steam's fault for their actions. You're adorable.
