Very nice; looks to be in super shape, body-wise!

I'm an old Mustang/Cougar guy from way back.

FYI, I have a few SBF parts I won't be using - a Crane hydraulic "3/4" cam/lifters (great for a stick-car of your car's weight), original Cobra valve covers, and a Cobra intake from a '67 Shelby.

Add a bit of flavor to your build!
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

    My last Cougar was a '69 XR7 with a 351W, C4, and leather.

I loved that car...wanted to swap in a top-loader, but I'd done a few of those change-overs and I didn't like doing 'em, so the car never got beyond being a really nice cruiser.
