my new fav plug-in

as a die-hard firefox user, i'm absolutely loyal to several of it's plug-in's. my newest addition is "ghostery". this nifty little do-dad will completely stop google & other advertisers from collecting data on your browsing.

so far, my list of "must-haves" is:

Ad Block Plus
Ghostery
Download Helper
Down Them All
Flash Got
Right to Click

Tor plugin is another good one...but the ones above are the ones i use most often. download helper is a godsend. nothing beats being able to click on your toolbar to download whatever video you've just loaded on a webpage (redtube, youtube, etc). MONEY.

i'll add another to the list today. "youtube mp3 podcaster". this nifty add-on will download youtube videos as mp3 files. in other words, if you can find a music-video on youtube, you can get an mp3 saved to your own music collection from it. and the riaa won't break down your door and wave a lawsuit in your face for illegal downloading (all they can do is try to take down the youtube video).

just use IE and fire up do not track/inprivate browsing... no tracking all built in. Google hates that.

Tor is the ultimate... Your IP is hidden, unless you do that obviously your IP can be tracked.

This is why google is getting into the ISP business, they can find out your whole life then.

Download helper will turn convert about everything into about anything with the paid version. AWESOME app...

CS Helper is cool add on for Download helper. It allows you to screen capture to video...

Adblock + is a MUST!
