Good god, compared to working on a 3S...

Great thread, great documentation - thanks!

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

I’m going to track this weekend as long as the weather holds out – hoping to run high 11’s. Video as always!

I will continue to update the thread as the work in the Hardtop progresses. At this point I need a downpipe and intercooler piping fab’d for the DD manifold before I can get any further. I may throw the Boost Logic kit on it as a temporary setup until I can align a fabricator. It will drop in with only a few hrs work at most, so I may do that for the short term. In addition to the turbo setup I’ve also got GSC S1 cams, GSC Beehive springs, Titan billet tensioner bracket and an ATI pulley waiting to go in as well.

When it hits the street, dyno and track I'll have pics and vid as always!

The yellow and green plane is a 40% Carden Extra 330 powered by a Desert Aircraft DA-150 engine (twin cyl. 150cc 2-cyle). The maroon and white plane is a 40% Carden Edge 540 powered by a 3W-157TOC (twin cyl. 157cc 2-cycle).

Here are a few videos (several more on my channel):

Curious what's holding you back on the quickspool? With that set-up, hell... Torque curve would look like it sprouted an extra cylinder or two.
