ok finally done with the pressure test found out that there was insanely leak on the oil cap and a little red house that goes
on top of the throttle body to a letter P was ripped. fixed both of them went for a drive and power is back, but there is still some jerking
between 2.5k to 3k rpm with a sound in the engine, sounds like when you hit an empty 5 gallon barrel its more noticeable when you try to floor it on 3 gear. car started a 1.5k rpm on cold
and it stays at 500/600 when worm.

Have you checked your ECU yet? It sounds like the car is backfiring.

Have you checked the plugs and wiring yet? I'd also replace the fuel filter while you're at it so you know that you should be getting enough fuel along with a strong spark at each cylinder...And remember, OEM parts will save you some headaches over most of the cheap China crap that's often sold at the local parts stores.

BTW: I'm suggesting these things 'cause I was getting a stutter/hesitation around the same RPM range as you & it turned out to be the fuel filter (which was installed backwards)...it cleared up after I put an OEM one back on & in the correct way.

yeah thats what thought at first that it was misfiring so before the pressure test that i did today i had done full wiring with new Laser Irirdium Spark Plug, fuel filter, tryed my brothers mafs on my car, new tps, few fuel system additives, all OEM parts(dont wanna put trash on my baby haha) but still a problem and thats when i searched for help. but backfiring is still in the list.

ima be checking the ECU tomorrow, i was reading that it could be the PTU, i wanna try and figure it myself before i go to a shop. as i wanna learn more about my car im no mechanic but a can take something apart and put it back together.
i didnt trust any of the shops around but i found some legit places in socal3s.com (thanks to stealthknight619) in case i have to take it. thanks for answering and help

ok pulled out the ECU everything looks good on it. here are some pictures. still wanna have checked out tho as i said im having the same exact problem as the brother on the vid and said that "Ended up being a tiny transistor in the ecuit was a tiny" and had it checked on two different shops. you guys have a legit shop that can send it too?

Ok finally got to take my car to a real vr4 mechanic his name is chai in reseda CA what a great guy. And he said the timing belt had jumped 1 teeth. Since my car has 132k milles and dont know if last owner did it I decided to do the 120k service.
