ecuflash problems

You need to make sure the XML (23862006.XML) from the chrome instructions is stored in a sub folder of the above directory. I'm guessing its different since you chose to install ecu flash here instead of program files directory.

I did I made a folder called 3000gt and put 23862006.xml in it closed everything out, then opened ecuflash and tried to open the 23862006.bin and I get the error unknown rom image. Is there and way to test my xml out. All I have to do is flash my car to get it back running any help is much appreciated

Ok I tried a evo bin and it worked perfect so there has to be something wrong with the xml right

I would try to move the XML file from where you currently have it to some other folder outside of the rommetadata folder and restart ecu flash to see if the models read stay at 612 or reduce to 611. If the number stays at 612, ecu flash is not reading your XML. If it reduces, there might be something going on with version 1.44. I'm using version 1.42 right now so can't help there.

Cool I tried that and it did go to 611 so it is reading the xml. I might try to get 1.42 and see what happens but before that can I post it the xml for Greg to check out to make sure nothing is wrong.

Ok i tried 1.42 same thing. I swear it's the xml. I dont know how but its messed up.

Guess I'm not understanding why you deleted ECUFlash. It upgraded and reinstalls itself...

I would re-send you the XML but my laptop died. Going to be a while before I'm back up and running.
