    Will this work?

Is it possible to run the AWD rear subframe with out the diff or axles if i still use my FWD transmission? I need my car to get to work and class. Getting my mounts welded in took longer than expected for the AWD conversion.

    I'm sure you can.

You did an AWD conversion to your only car? lol you crazy!

As long as the drive shaft isn't there and you have lube in the rear end you don't even need to remove the rear axles.

^ what paul said. as long as you pull the driveshaft, the VCU shouldn't put up any fight.

yes you can run with no rear diff and no axles and no driveshaft with FWD tranny.

If you are running without the axles then make sure the "companion flange" is bolted on. The wheel might come off if not.

No might about it if the flange isn't there........one of the wheel bearings it pressed on it........wheel won't make it out of the driveway

Not true... The flange is just a flange. The outer bearing is pressed onto the wheel hub/shaft assembly. Without the flange he would probably make it to the first corner in the road...
