    This guy has the answer to car thieves!

    Give him the boot! I dont live in Chicago (just 1hr outside of it)....hope the crime does not get that bad here to where I need this idea since soon I cant protect it with a gun....

    I was thinking he probably had more invested in the boot than the car until I saw this.

    There were more than a dozen boot locks on sale on eBay on Thursday, most of them selling for about $100.
    Cheaper than I thought it would be.

    won't stop a determined thief with an angle-grinder. if you do decide to use a boot, be sure to get one that covers your lug-nuts...or else, use theft-deterrant lugs.

    Whenever I leave my car somewhere in South Texas (carrizo springs etc) Ill unhook something underneath the hood, or a couple of things. Good luck starting it and finding the random problem.
