There are infact (3) cabin pressure differential chambers built into our vehicles design. They're located in the A-plliars, B-pilliars, and in the main down stays above the doors.

The pressure tubes for the main stays connect with the vent chamber directly infront of the windshield and the A-pilliars have a filter that connects to a penetraition behind the 3rd layer that drops out the bottom of the lower box curtain rail and dump under the car.

The B pilliars have these pressure tubes hidden behind the first layer of the monococue.

You guys think the windows are bowing due to excess cabin pressure? Think we need more penetrations to get a better equallibrum? Jason Y mentioned he hit the high 180's possibly 190's (?) and his windows started buckiling. The video mehrshad posted clearly depicts what Jason was talking about. If our windows bend 2" out at 175mph when they're rolled up there's no F-N way you can do 200mph without them shattering... And I can attest to the fact that there's way too much drag with the windows down to break 200 mph so this will prove to be harder than expected hrmmm...

Need a fix for this pressure differential. Wether the windows are down, or with nets. Any Ideas?
    duct tape.

I don't want it to look like I'm picking in your ideas lol sorry man...but last time I had the sunroof cracked going FAST (red vr4, not the green one), it was damn near about to get ripped off. It was making A LOT of noise and warping. Even with the sunroof closed, it was starting to come up off of the seals. I don't know if it was a result of high pressure wanting OUT, or the boundary layer outside wanting to take it off, but It spooked me at 140+

It'd be better to do this in a non sunroof car, unless you want to batten down the sunroof hahaha

Funny as it sounds, I've put blue painters tape on the sunroof seals to keep them from doing that. Worked pretty well without leaving any residue.

That's the only other roof that came in 1G cars, yes.

I understand that the 96+ cars have the metal sunroof, but I'm not eligible to speculate how well they are sealed to the body or how it likes (or dislikes) high speed

OK then. Sounds like it's boundary layer air trying to rip up the sunroof. There is still a pressure differential between the high pressure cabin air and the low pressure outside air, but if that eliminated the bad noises and sunroof coming up, then that solves the sunroof debate I guess hahah

Do you have something for illustration purposes? Can you make some recommendations?

JFast can you draw some arrows in those pictures to show where these pressure relief tubes are?

What are your opinions on using rally vent window inserts like the evo guys use? When you were aero testing on the runways did you do any testing with naca ducts or holes off the rear and see how the impacted the rear wing?

I've had my stealth up to 170 and I never had any issues with the windows being sucked out
