    There's really not anything better than the OEM timing belt. As it is the belt itself is very rarely a failure point. The things that usually fail are the water pump, idler pulley, or tensioner/tensioner pulley. The belt may fail if one of those fails, but it's not going to fail unless there is another issue. None of those parts should fail is proper preventative maintenance is done, ie the 60k services.

    Wired up the car and powered it on for the first time in 9 years. I extended and shortened wires on the factory harness to be able to try to start it as close to stock as I can.
