The block was going to go to a machine shop this month, but I made a last minute decision to sell my pistons and rods. Just ordered the billet oliver/pampena rods and will be ordering pampena custom 3.1L pistons on Wednesday. This pushes the block back to getting into a machine shop next month.

Right now it looks as though I will be assembling and possibly installing the engine and trans back into the car at the end of next month. After that all the fab work can be done for the single turbo kit, pick up a few odds and ends, and crank this beast up for the first time in a few years.

Yea, the Oliver rods look extremely nice. Its a shame they have to go inside the engine...

I actually decided on going aem ems v2, full billet stroked 72, and os giken twin disk. So I sold my "old" rotating assembly, clutch, flywheel, and EMS. That put me halfway there and now I just need to work some overtime so that ray can be putting my short block together real soon.

Gene Performance single turbo manifold and downpipe

Going have to chop that T3 flange off and get a T4 undivided welded back on. Also probably going to remake the downpipe into 4" but this will get the car running for now!

ARC replica shift knob. The real ARC knobs aren't made anymore, but this place has their warehouse and made exact copies of them...or so I have read.. I also read there is no difference between these and a real ARC except the insert - plastic on real, brass on replicas. Overall I'm very happy with this knob, I did not want to use set screws like alot of aftermarket knobs do..

I also have a OS Giken triple disk clutch on order from Pitroad M...

Saving up for Pampenas billet 72 stroker.. Should have it by the end of summer!

    Thanks!

I know it's just a matter of opinion, but what don't you like about the shifter?

It's blue which doesn't flow with your interior at all. A new oem shift knob would look good. Great shape and will fix the sagging look to the shift boot. Also, matches the color scheme you have going.

Like I said. Love the seats and carpet!. Shifter just throws off the great look, to me.
