Fuel lines done. Going to put the flex fuel sensor in once I get the car on a rack again. Just working on the wiring harness and valve covers while I wait on the mid case brace.

My brace for the midcase should be shipped to me soon. I decided to make a YouTube channel to document and get me motivated the remainder of the build(s). For the next updates I'll post a video of the progress and pictures.

Still waiting on the midcase brace but here's a little progress in the meantime.
Welded an fittings on the valvecovers and then shut the old fittings. Removed the unnecessary screw holes on the front cover. Now sending them to be powdercoated.
Did a little heatsheilding but still have to get more supplies
I included some of the work in this YouTube video if that's your thing, the first part of the video is me finding out the 2jz for my wife's supra needs to go to a machine shop after coming back from a machine shop...
Could be worse. The 2J could have 6 big ass windows in it like my buddy's. He decided take it out "one last time" before winter was officially setting in and it threw 3 rods through both sides of the block. It was only built to hold around 700 and he was probably closer to 1100 between the tune he was on and the cooler air that day. He finally got the time to get it out of the car and I got a better look at it yesterday.

I'm done waiting on other people.
I'm assuming you're making your own bellhousing brace?
I have the bellhousing brace from pampena. This is a midcase brace. I shipped a spare midcase to someone who makes some small cnc parts to design and start making some, but its been months (he has some health issues, not complaining but it is holding me up) and he's making them differently than what I wanted - it may work, but I don't feel like it would do much for my car and goals.
Rough shape is done, now just fine tuning it in.
Getting close. Time to weld and test fit to clearance for the gears.
Welded in and clearanced (not pictured). Was very nerve racking welding on the midcase and the fact that I hadn't welded in a while, but I only made one mistake even though I couldn't keep my hands steady.
