Need first gen AWD tranny mounted gear shifter seal/assembly

I was cleaning up my trans for installation and noticed this rubber seal was torn. Does anyone have a junk AWD trans they can take this off of? It normally has the shift forks/shaft connected, or what ever you call it, but I drove the rolled pin out to take the top plate off to get to that booty/seal. I can buy the whole setup with shaft an all as it comes out of trans if need be. I know I can order it from Mitsubishi, ive seen a few threads for AWD trans parts so I figured Id ask around first. If you can email me pics or text pics that would be great. diebog1 at gmail dot com or 53zero-9one3-849one

    Thanks

    Jeremy

here are the numbers on the plate if needed:

Here is the full assembly from 3sx.

I think somebody just got one from a Mitsu dealer for around 70 bucks. You might just want to go that route because he claimed it seemed to shift better.

Here it is but it was 86 bucks not 70. I'm not sure how much 3sx is charging.

Thanks Ill look in to that. Oh and I have been meaning to thank you and shooter83 for your help when I took the plunge and started hacking off all my NA mounts to go TT. I cut out the NA towers, replaced with the TT strut towers. Cut off all mounts and welded in the TT ones. While I had the towers off I cut that lil window in the floor to replace the rear NA bolt with the TT one. Replaced the front drive shaft mount with the TT one. A hell of allot of grinding cutting and welding but I had fun!. I have the rear all buttoned up as well as the inside rear trunk. Im rebuilding the TT engine that came in my 500$ parts car. I took out the AA front and rear wiring from the stock TT harness and made a separate harness to hook up the computer switch and the front and rear AA wires. So this 91 Figi blue NA will be a true VR4 except for the vin will say different. I owe allot of thanks to you guys for giving me the confidence that it was possible. All your great pics helped out tremendously! I would reffer to them constantly, and when I had a question I would look back and allways found what I needed. I took a ton of pics before and after durring the proccess and hope to someday when I have time create another thread that may help others and share some things I may have done that helped or problems I ran into.

I had all the tools besides the spot weld cutter, lol, so it was just a matter of many hours of reading, research and figuring things out. The most important thing I forced my self to do is to not rush and do it right the first time. To get the bolts and mounts for the rear I took detailed measurements from different points so when I went to install rear end assembly it went rite in. And it did! I was impressed. I am basically restoring the entire car inside and out. Ever metal part is sandblasted and re painted or polished. Its been a hell of a fun project. Now I am onto building the engine.

Now I am onto building the engine

Damn, thanks man, I love to hear something I did and documented helped somebody else. trust me, you stick with it and you can/will have a pretty bad ass car. Even if you should of bought a vr4 to start with or not. lol

Shooter is awesome, I miss seeing him post.

Sounds like you are doing it right. I ran into all kinds of problems here and there but now the car is pretty f-ing cool.

Ya I know everyone says its cheaper to buy a vr4 outright, but I did it specifically for the challenge and for a good long project. Im gona stick with it ans see it threw till the end. Plus I owned my 91 NA for 8 years now and wanted to TT it so when I did research and saw what you did and shooter as well as other threads I stumbled across, it just made sense to go all the way. So I started looking for a TT donor and the very next week a rd 91 T popped up on craigslist and the dude had no idea what he was doing. He bought it on the pretense that it just needed a fuel pump. So he got one and snapped the hard line that everyone breaks so it never got past that. The fuel pump ended up being fine, it had a 91 NA ecu that was toast. So there was no chance of it running. So i came in and worked my "magic" lol, and got it for 500 bucks cause he had to get it off his moms driveway. There were many new parts that had just been replaced. Someone put a bunch of money into it before this guy got a hold of it. It was funny, when we went to load it on my trailer the tires were flat. So I ask him if he has a compressor, he says ya and goes and get one from a neighbor. He then starts to get a jack out and attempted to lift up the car just to put air in the tires. I ask him, why are you jacking it up? He says back to me, will the tires be able to inflate and pick up the car? I laughed and said ya no worries. So it all made sense now how this all came about. LOL.....and so began my AWD conversion

It's hard to say good bye to a car you have done so much work to and enjoyed for many years. Also it's still not always cheaper/better to buy a VR4. I don't really have much money into my AWD conversion. A lot of work but not a lot of money. If you need any advice let me know. Make sure everything is welded good.
