I don't like it either. The minority isn't as small as you'd think. That being said I didn't like the C5 rear when it came out either, and I still don't like the C6 front end.

Well, opinions are like assholes I guess. You can call it all you want, you can even say you don't find it attractive, but to say this car is ugly is a huge stretch.

Uhh yeah, it's incredible. I'm not crazy about the tails, but I love everything else.

with VW doing tails similar to these now...i think chevy needs to re-invent it. this seems like a step backwards from the c6 tails (one of the best ever put on a production car). disgusting grille. looks like rear visibility will be as awful as ever. interior looks promising, but we'll see how much of that is low-quality gm plastic in the production run (and we all know how much gm LOVES plastic).

i certainly see the corvette lines in the profile, but the front and rear of the car is a mess, imho. i really think it's mostly just the awful front grille & the unoriginal rear. both the c6/c7 seem to be chasing a ferrari ghost. rather than doing that, i think chevy should consider going "retro" and returning to c2 roots. maybe include a split-window. something that says "100% american", rather than "50% knockoff ferrari"

    p.s.

the good thing is, when the c7 drops, the ls3 c6's will start dropping in price. i'd much rather own one of those.

I love how half of the pics they put up are renderings or so much HDR it may as well be a video game.

If you go into the gallery of 56 pictures, the vast majority are not renderings or HDR. They are just shots taken with a good camera. The dark gray car shots. The red ones, yeah (most all of) those are rendered and/or heavily processed.
