99 vr4 (Brett) He should be able to help you out. He had been doing awesome work on the clone revolution.
I had toddrs93 do my ecu and ecs a couple of years ago. It took some time but AFAIK his work was reputable.
my AvPro repair job failed shortly after too. they 'honored' there lifetime repair after some arguing then told me they will never honor it again because the D-Bag thinks i tried messing with the ECU myself to repair it...
i dont think ive ever talked badly about any 3s vendor, but stay the heck away from AvPro.
the basic go fast bits...
forged short block, Billet DR1000's, 680cc injectors, meth inj, FMIC, MAFT, Apexi Neo, hotwired 255lph fuel pump.

Just a fun Daily Driver.
I sent quite a few ecu's to avpro and have had no major issues. The one thing I didn't like is he failed to mention the IAC damaged part of the board, should have checked it. So the ecu was no longer repairable the 2nd time, but it makes a lovely test ecu and every car seems to idle just fine with it. I believe GZP still sends all their ecu's to avpro as well.

I have read several horror stories about AvPro... especially in the last few years. I would stay away from them.
I've used Foreign Auto Computer before. My ECU has yet to fail, and that was 3 years ago. At that time he had a TT Stealth to test it in afterwards and a computer facility to test the ECU board. It was fairly fast turn around too.
