tactrix 2.0 problems...

Hello all, I am trying to figure out which piece is faulty here. I cannot get ecuflash to recognize that i have the usb cable connected to the tactrix 2.0, which is connected to the car. On my laptop and on my wife's mac, neither one will register. Ecuflash always says "no vehicle interface" in the bottom right corner. i have flashed the car previously and have been able to connect with either computer in the past. But, that has been a number of weeks ago. I can check dtc's through evoscan still on my laptop. Could the stereo cable connector be broken on the tactrix? it seems like it clicks in very hard and has some slop in it once it is connected. I also checked to make sure all of the pins were securely in place, and nothing seemed to be the matter there. Thanks for your time!

close both ecuflash and evoscan and then re-launch ecuflash. I have found if I leave evoscan open it creates some conflicts.

There is no evoscan on the mac. I tried shuting down everything and restarting with both computers. Nothing different. I can access the SD card but it never connects to the car. Evoscan did say an error at one point saying there was no 5v signal. I dunno if it is my harness messed up, or the tactrix or my usb to mini SD cable bad? Idk...

I resolved this issue by making sure ecuflash wasn't in recovery mode. I also reinstalled the program without the usb cable connected to the tactrix 2.0 per instructions from tactrix tech support. Just a stupid mistake on my part. Hope this saves someone else some grief.
