In for updates Greg. I would like to take my engine rebuild through a similar process. I think I found a shop to clean my heads after I strip them but haven't located a machine shop that could hot tank and hone the block.

    No real updates right now.

I just sent my coolant neck off to get powder coated.

Boxing up the last of the nuts and bolts to mail them off to the plater to get a clear zinc treatment.

Waiting on Gates to get some kevlar timing belts out to Chris.

In the mean time I took the car out last weekend to do some tuning runs. Only got one good tune run in due to the front end breaking up really bad. I got a new CV Shaft sitting next to me that I need to install and over look the front suspension. 120mph with the front end breaking up was not fun!!! But that one run did net me a good log to run through virtual dyno...

This was only at 8psi and little rich of a tune as I didn't get a chance to tune the fuel to accommodate the water/meth injection.

Here are the recent updates I have on the engine build.

Timing kit came from Ninja Performance. Gates Kevlar timing belt, and Ninja Solid tensioner.

I got the water housing back from Terry @ Maximal. It looks amazing and I am extremely happy with the quality of work that was done.

I finally got my parts back from the plating company. It only took 3 weeks but in the end it was well worth it. The plating is almost chrome looking!

I got the timing kit and water housing installed. I'm in the proces now of swapping out all of the stock hardware with the plated ones. I have decided that even though the engine done to the point I can install it, I will not be dropping it in this year. I just put my house on the market as the Wife and I are looking for something larger with a shop for me to work in. So with the house showing and moving in the near future there is just too much going on. i am just going to stick with tinkering and getting everything I can done on the engine. now on to the pics!!

So I trashed the timing belt on the 10:1 engine this past weekend so the engine swap will begin. This block is for the most part done and anything missing will come off of the 10:1 motor. I started a new thread for the actual swap portion of the build which you can follow here:
