You're not going to be able to tune without piggyback systems or a 98/99 ECU.

Search for "chromed" in the search bar. Basically, 98's and 99's had flashable ecus. There are guys making clones of those ECU's and with a harness adapter and some software you have a damn near fully programmable ECU.

    From the phone.

Im curious as to how you decided to jump in the 3s game with not much knowledge of anything in the arena, no offense

Perhaps a beginner guide may be called for in this instance?

This is where that profile comes in handy, where are you from. There are shops/tuners spread out about the country with the better tuner being in NY(he is paid to fly internationaly to tune)

I dont think thats a very good FAQ honestly, its saying you need $9000 to do a TT conversion to a 3/S?

His parts are quoted as new, not used...

just to begin you would need a new VR4/TT engine (about$4,000), a new tranny (about $4,000), a new ECU (about $1,000), and several other parts.
...other than that, thats the only site i could think of for guys jumping in the pool. But, theres some good info in there, and add a link if you got one!
