    597 AWHP / 600 lbft - 15.8 psi

Most of you know I've been running around with my timing in the basement trying to find time to tune the car. Last week I got everything under 4350 taken care of. I finally got up at the crack of dawn to start advancing the timing at 4350+.

The thing was making HUGE gains in torque with little advance. I picked up 55.9 lb ft with just 1.7* at 4700. 5750 rpm seemed to have leveled out but everywhere else was still making significant gains with advance when I ran out of laptop battery. I bet it's close to pegged but there is some more power in there.

Sooooo...I don't know how to say this but I think I'm going to sell the car. I don't have time for this thing (even when it's running). I really don't have time to fix it when it breaks. It's an absolute blast to drive but it's no fun to wrench on for me anymore. I've got kids that are older now & a job that requires my attention (those of you that know what I do for a living know what I'm talking about). Every time I'm working on it I'm thinking there are other things that I need to be doing. Every time I stand on the gas I'm praying I don't break it because I don't have time to work on it.

So yeah...I've thought long and hard about this. I'll post a For Sale thread when I'm ready to pull the trigger.

That's sad you want to sell. I don't think anyone else will be able to do a build like this as well as you did.

Wow, I never thought you would sell. But if there's one thing I've learned about you over all the years watching you post and build your car is that you are one of the most thorough guys on the board, and that all of your decisions are well thought out. Hopefully you can enjoy the car until it sells, and hopefully you won't leave the board.

    Good Luck,
