Cool Redesigning the MN 3/S website

For the past couple of weeks I've been redesigning the Minnesota 3/S website using Wordpress. I still have a ways to go. I've got over 100+ gathering picture pages to convert. But the layout and the main pages are done. So its probably good enough for public consumption. If you want to check out the new layout, go to: Minnesota 3/S

(obviously I still need to redirect mn3s.org to this new site. That should be coming soon)

    Thanks,
    Curt

Bout time! That Netscape style web page layout needed a serious over haul!

Are W3SI and MN3S merging? Might do both clubs some good.

LOL. Yeah, my old page needed an overhaul 10 years ago. I'll be able to keep it much more "fresh" looking going forward.

And no, W3SI isn't merging with MN 3/S. But I do want to help W3SI get a little more active. They need it.

The leaders keep bailing. Hard to keep the club together with no organizers.

Yes indeed. But at least their message board works much better now thanks to Alan, and I'm gonna do what I can to get some more traffic to them on Facebook and their board.

I now have all my picture pages up on the new site for the Upper Midwest 3/S Gathering, All Mitsu Cookout, Fall Rural Cruises, Spring Rural Cruises and the Mitsubishi Owners Days. That is about 70 galleries of pictures. I'm probably about half done now!

Looks good!! I'm getting ready to take the carolina3s forum offline as the FB group is more active. Probably build the domain into something much more useful.

The MN 3/S forum still has way more active then our FB group. But I have both to make sure everyone can find us. If you decide to do more with your domain, check out Wordpress. Its a pretty cool website development tool.

I've played with wordpress before but I'm not to big into CMS systems. I would rather build everything straight out from scratch just using a framework. That way I don't have a bunch of other stuff in there I don't use and never need.
