    Nope I kept it. I don't see a performance gain removing it. I feel their is a reason Mitsubishi kept it in every vr4.

    If it works keep it, older models are worn out.

    Worked on the car for about 2 hours today. Got all the drivetrain components in just waiting on the PST 2 piece aluminum hybrid drive shaft to come. I removed the aftermarket sway bar links and installed all factory links. The after market links wouldn't fit (without a lot of shimming) once I put in the half shafts (axles) in. And I didn't want to use 20 washers!

    I also put all new redline fluids in.
    -MT85 in the transaxle,
    -Heavy shock proof in the transfercase,
    -75-90 in the rear end.

    These pics are for you ABM! I did not mod the bracket or egg the holes what so ever.
