    Grannys VR4 Build...

    Not going to lie....
I know some about the turbo engine but not my new VR4.
I feel like I have walked thru a new door

    My new baby!

Sadly I will be using my Ol gal to build her.

Matt passed her on to me knowing I would give her the love she deserved.

It was his first car and he is counting on me and the 3S community to take care of his baby!

Mike and I will be there but not in the VR4.

I'm going to put everything I have in rebuilding this car.

    It's the journey!

I have asked myself so many times if this is really me.....I think so!

The engine is blown. Jumped timing?
    I have a fresh engine.

Matt lives 3 hours from us in Hampton Va.

He had the car on craslist and it was listed for more then I had but I made him an offer
and he accepted because I told him I wanted to rebuild the car.

Matt turned down other offers on the VR4 because they wanted to part it out.

You got to get rid of that shift knob.

That's cool he sold it to you. I don't blame him at all, I'd have a hard time selling mine to somebody I knew would part it out. If I ever bought another I'd probably transfer my engine and performance parts to the VR4 and return the green one to NA. It would stay AWD and I might let my daughter drive it.
